BULLSHIT. (warning angry rant ahead)

Alright, so we have sectionals (kind of like regionals) on Saturday. I've been looking forward to it for weeks and I've been absolutely killing it in workouts with this race in mind.
There are eight girls on our team, and only seven can run.
The last three girls (let's just call them "me", "stupid bitch", and "nice person") are REALLY REALLY close in times, so our coach had to decide which two will get to run. She ended up picking me and stupid bitch to run.

This makes me incredibly angry because:
-Stupid bitch is a stupid bitch. She is incredibly immature, mean, and downright lazy. She does not at all deserve to run in this meet. She did not come to a single summer practice, whereas nice girl came to all of them. Also, she made us miss our race at a major invitational because she was hungover (looong story) and managed to piss off the coach some more that day by putting up immature signs in the bus window and throwing bread at the bus driver. In addition to this, she has described in detail to us her plans to get totally wasted Friday night even though we have a major meet the next morning. She even told the coach that she has "plans late Friday night."
-I can't believe our coach would pick this girl to run. Regardless of the fact that she is a horrible person and I hate her, she is horribly inconsistent. Nice girl is an incredibly consistent runner and it would be better for the team as a whole.
-Nice girl deserves to run this meet more than anyone else on our team.

It's just such bullshit. I'm so angry. I'm going to give nice girl my varsity spot so she can run. I'll just pray that stupid bitch is too hungover and I get to take her place on race day. Ugh.

don't give anyone your spot. you earned it.

She deserves it way more than I do.

The two captains and I are going to talk to the coach tomorrow. As for the rest of the team, they either hate us/are friends with her/just completely oblivious as to what is going on/don't give a shit.

aww that totally sucks. Hopefully you can reason well with the coach and get the whole thing settled the way that it should be.

I think the coach has to kick off the bitch if she is hungover, especially if 3 people come up to him/her to state that. It seems that the nice girl deserves to be there with you guys.

Anyway like miler said you shouldn't give up your spot because in the coaches eyes you earned it. There is going to be bitches all your life get use to it. Does this bitch girl happen to be a kiss ass to the coach?

if it makes you feel better.. when I go to the state meet, me and my friend have to babysit that girl that "ran away". That includes at the hotel etc..
She said its the price we pay if we want to tag along and watch my teamate.
