Okay, so 2 weeks from now, our Coach has us schedule for 3 meets in one week!

One on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. (so that means two are back to back!)
The one on Tues. is a 1.5 mile race and Thu. and Fri. are both 2 mile races.
(then the next Tuesday after that is conference!)
I really hope I can make it.

This doesn't sound like too good of an idea...

Take it easy in one of them. Run hard enough just so you can score.

I feel your pain, xc running gal. Sad
I have three meets this coming week.

I agree with TBK's advice. Maybe try taking Thursady's meet kind of easy.

sounds like a good idea now, but once the gun goes off she won't want to take it easy. just roll with the punches, this is the point in the season where it's do or die, just race your races and get a lot of sleep.

Your meets are short so it shouldn't be a big problem. That being said, if you are hurting after one of your races, take an ice bath.

    +1 to what miler said

    thanks guys
and, AudienceofOne, that was really motivational. sporty 2

Im not taking thursdays easy because its one of my most favorite meets of the year and i placed really well last year and our team won with 25 points and we got this huge trophy (and that's really special for us middleschoolers becuase that's the only meet out of the whole year where they give out team trophies and individual medals)
so, easy is out of the question.
