3 things.
1.Coach told me everything, I've been emailing her so dont bother.
2.you shouldn't have gone down to the river in the first place, the last people that did that on our team got suspended from school and kicked off the team (and that was just for going down there) If you were tired just turn back and go back to the SCHOOl.
3.I dont think you realize how much stress you put on sorrell and squires and how they could possibly lose their coaching jobs over this. You should probably go to parkhurst and apologize saying it wasn't their fault and your sorry.

Did the cops call you?
I was to tired and decided id go down by the river with derek. we kept going and going and finally got lost. i fell into the river where it was over my head and a bunch of rapids were and he went in after me. the water was deep and we were holding hands going down stream and i ended up going under water and he brought me to the surface. we ended up finally getting out of the river and endded up on the last sandbar where the rapids were really bad. we were probably 2 hours away from the school. the rapids just turned from worse to worser. i diden't have my cell phone on me and could not call anyone. we ended up staying the night on the sandbar. the weather was so cold that if it would have been 5-10 degrees cooler we would of probably died from hipothermia. i was so cold that i was in the 2nd stage of hipothermia and he was near the 3rd stage. I diden't sleep all night and yelled for help several times but nobody came to our rescue. It wasen't until the sun came up i could go get help and somehow get across the current. Derek was so cold he coulden't move and i diden't want to leave him alone and go without him. so i finally got him to agree we could do this and we crossed the rapids even though it was swift and found our way out. it was very scary to say the least but i kept praying to god he would get us out of here safe and sound, and my prayers were answered. I learned a valuable lesson even if im to tired to run to let my coaches know in advance so other plans can be made. I did not want to let the team down by not running and also jeopardize me from not being able to participate in the meets this week. My mom has talked to sorrell and the coaches are just glad everything turned out for the best and i will be running this next week at practice and at the meets. Now you have it.
I have to go run errands with my parents talk with you manana.
