Greg, I agree with you...I'm averaging probably 30 minutes a day MAX lol. I do a lot of it at school (30 mins of HR and during Office Aid when I'm not busy) but at home, I don't do much other than enjoy myself, with a bit of homework lol. I still have a 3.85 and I'm in 2 APs Smile I've never been much of a studyer (and people don't believe me when I say I barely ever do hw at home) I always worry more about getting to bed early so I can feel well rested Smile

I usually do schoolwork from 7-10, so 3 hours. I also do work during my 45 minute free period everyday at school.

I NEVER had to study until I got to high school. I always got straight As, but in middle school it was so effortless and now I really have to work at it. High school is very very different.

I don't know...I'm in two AP classes and the other two are Honors and I still have a 4.0 (unweighted).

It really depends on how much you can retain during class, and how effective your study time is. If you aren't studying for as long, but you're doing it in a way that helps you remember as much as you possibly can, you don't have to study as much. Or if you take notes in class and just flip through those at night.

Some people need to study. For others, it's more flexible (in high school).

It also depends where you go to high school. I guarantee that there are places where you can't get
away with not studying. I study effectively, have an excellent memory, and still average 3 hours a night.

I took three AP's my junior year and I got an A in English and US History but they kicked my ass. So this year, one AP Stat andd the rest are basically fillers. I average 30 minutes a night of homework and sometimes I work Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 to 10 after practice Smile It is suchh a relief and as long as I maintain a 4.2 i'm golden.

I got all my homework done in class, and I retained everything in most classes. I didn't take notes once during my Economics class, and I had a 98% in that course. Class average? Low 70s.

^ ooh same.. thanks for reminding me..lol
    That and math homework.

The first week for history started off bad.Someone told me to turn in my homework which I didn't finish but I turned it in so I could get some kind of credit..turns out it wasn't due until today. The teacher said she already had mine but I was like great I had an extra 4 days to finish it..grr
My best subject always seems to be my worst grade, funny.

Lame rant..sorry haha its just been really bothering me =/

I don't study and I still get A's and B's. I've always been good at every subject but english (Spelling and writing. I'm ok at reading)
I read what the teacher assigns during study hall and thats all I do. Most of the time I get my homework done in class.
