I watch old highlights and the medal count throughout the day, but I watch everything from that day on prime time, that's when everything good is on.

I'm so excited for Shalane. I was predicting her to medal, although most people seemed to think it would be Kara. I guess she hadn't been feeling well a few days ago though, and missed a day of training. She had something wrong with her stomach, and was up all night a little bit ago. They thought she might not start.

Why does NBC show all of a swimming 1500 yet almost none of the 10,000m? Comparatively, NBC showed more of the 148 mile bike race than this one

NBC only showed about half of the 800m where the oldest WR was beaten, I can't imagine them showing all of the 1500m. Are you guys talking about the online vids? Maybe it was just a highlight.

No, they seriously showed all of the fifteen hundred. I can't believe they only showed half of a WR breaking race that lasted less than 2 minutes.

it was the women's 800m free, it lasted a lot longer than 2 minutes
