    That article was written like 2 months ago.

    The only thing it has been accurate about was him missing this one Olympic team, not something which was out of the question when the article was written. The internet is much moar serious business than you think.

    yeah he always does good in these races that dont mean anything. like when he set the american record.
    and then when the trials come along. or even that road race a few months ago that he dropped out of.

    THEY PREDICTED THE PLACE HE WOULD GET THOUGH ALMOST PERFECTLY

    AND SHERER IS A BEAST, I WOULDNT PUT IT PAST HIM. HES A YOUNG GUY, HE HAD THE A STANDARD GOING INTO THE RACE AND HE HAS A LOT OF TIME TO IMPROVE. HES IMPROVED SO MUCH WITHIN THE LAST 1-2 YEARS. HE HAS A LEGIT SHOT.

    I've actually talked to Sherer a few times, he seems like a pretty nice guy. He coached at a school not too far from here, and he was at some of the pro meets etc. around here running unattached. He also works at a shoe store not too far from here (it's a running specific shoe store, very close to the high school he coached at). I love how he wears spikes like debranded Lanangs... he chooses to run unattached and who knows, I think he does have a legitimate shot at 2012.
