hmm.... Giving up on bad days won't get me anywhere. If I want to be the best that I can be, then I have to just get past the bad days & learn to expect them once in a while. My motivator is not making it to state last year for track. Whenever I feel as if my running world is crashing down, I think about regional 2008, and how I never want to feel the way I did that day after my last race, when I realized my goal of making it to state for 4 years was no more.
Goals also can get you past a bad day...season...ect.
