    huge legs!

Post by thenextdeena on Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:33 pm

So basically my legs are gigantic and not nice defined muscle,
all muscle but not the visible kind (ie: not the kind with nice poping out calve muscles) if that makes sense.
basically the more I run the bigger my legs get, and I really would like to lean them out.
    does anyone know any exercizes?
I know this sounds stupid but I hate my legs!

woa i got the same problem kinda. it's not even that big a deal, but leaning out the legs would probably make me a more economical runner. my calves are pretty muscular and built, just not the thighs. i've been doing squats everyday, i'll see if that helps.

for calves try just pushing up on your toes (i know it sounds bad)
but doa s many as you can before bed or something then again in the morning and repeat
    of calves do some squats
or if you have a good gym do some leg curls etc

If it helps, the two girls in your picture (and I assume one is you) both have skinny legs. Smile

Something in your legs could be out of alignment, causing your calves to work too hard, making them obnoxiously big. Try hip strengthening exercises and squats. As soon as I started doing these last winter my calves literately became twigs, and my quads got a lot bigger. Not to mention, I was running faster.

I think the problem is mostly the thighs anyway....
