    Ryan Shay

Post by runner4life on Tue Nov 04, 2008 2:13 am

It has been a little more than a year since Ryan Shay died running the NYC marathon. he died at the 5 1/2 mile mark. there is much to be said about him and his efforts to run harder and faster every day.

Let us remeber him for the great things that he accomplished in running and in life. Sad

I was a fan before he died.
(I'm from Northern Michigan...aka: Near Where he grew-up)
I saw him at our Regional Track meet a few years ago because he was home watching his dad coach. My sister's friend got his autograph but she was too scared so she didn't. Now she really wishes she wasn't scared/nervous.
