So how'd the week go for you guys? I've had a great month so far.
I ran an 11.48 2 mile JH race.
Then I was moved to Varsity and it was my first Varsity race today. I pulled out an 18.45. Hard Course, 77 out, and first Varsity. I'd say it was a pretty major success to me.

We had a race that basically goes 1.5 miles up a hill and 1.6 down. I was in 13th on the team at the top of the hill, feeling good, and having a real good shot at getting my spot back and proving my coach wrong (he didn't even think I'd finish 16th). Once we got on the downhill I cramped up (I'm guessing it was the harder impact) and I dropped back to 15th.

Spark Notes: I was in great position after the big hill but got a cramp going down and that ruined my race.

oh and to stop the trash on ND. We're one of the worst teams in the State.
    Top 5 was:
    16.55
    17.57
    18.16
    18.45
    18.45

And our top 3 we're all sick. 2 of our top guy couldn't run. Yee yee.

    so yesterday

my boyfriend like collapsed 200 meters from the finish and then like stood up and tried to finish, he finished it was like a slow jog though.

they would have won by one point if he hadnt collapsed, he was really dehydrated cause it was really hot out.

and if he hadnt collapsed, he would have ran like a 16:37, which would have been a PR, so that sucks

I haven't been home for a while and I've been super busy with a ton of stuff going on but here's an update for everyone.

I had a race on Saturday and took 26. It was by far the hardest course in the state and I ran with class A teams. My time was 17:14.
Just had a race yesterday on the regional course and took 5th. I broke my pr finally and went under 16 minutes with a 15:59.

just got back from this weekends invitational. (Manchester Invitational... if you're from new england you may have heard of it... its pretty big)

we got moved from the large school to the elite race... and we should have done pretty well, becaue out of the 3 other schools from nh we usually beat two of them. But not this time. our #1 runner collapsed a little over halfway through. Then I was the new #4... but I didn't have a great race. my time wsa 21:39... which is bad... but the coarse is very hilly... so it isn't a horrible time, but not great. and then our #5 also didn't have such a good day... ( she's usually in front of me) so, we came in 5th... out of 7... but, we were 3 points out of 4th. still, that's really not too good. AND its our last invitational of the season. that's sooo disappointing.
