xc meets beginning

anyone have an XC meet lately we had our first one today, the county meet. I ran a 22:35, last year I ran a 23:16 at this race, so I am about a minute off from my last years PR right now. I was 5th on my team, we scored a 19. Our guys got a 15.

POSSSSTTTT if you have had a meet.

I had two meets that don't count.

1st One- 2 teams. I got first. 17:50
2nd One- Whole county. I got 3rd. 17:15

Scrimmage, I came in 14th on the team, two people are going to push me back to 16th really soon though. =[

We had a time trial. I ran 21:36 for 10th on the team. I kind of just gave up when I saw that I had no hope of catching our #7. JV is JV on our team. No point in going for #8 until the end of the season when our coach chooses an alternate for our state tournament, and I plan on being around #6 by then.

I had my first meet on tuesday..ran a 23:35. I was 4th on my team [but 2 of our good runners weren't there] & 23/64 girls overall. We have our next meet tomorrow. I'm excited. just trying to get better since this is my first year doing xc.
girls got 3rd place [out of 8] & boys got 1st!

Meet on state course 18:05 (and felt like crap)

I would hat e to see my first race be my fastest

we usually only run at invitationals, but last thurs. we ran at a tri-meet (3 teams), ran terrible and still got a 15 (yes, audienceofone thats perfect).

two days later we had an invitational so the coach gave our top 5 the race off, and ran our jv guys in their place. our jv team got 12 out of 15 varsity teams.
