for the marathon was an idiot. he kept saying they were going to fall off the pace, and i called BS right when he said that. the reason so many marathons in the "heat" are slow, at 2:10-2:11 is because they don't WANT to run that pace, they'd rather surge from 6 miles out. but the east aftricans wanted to run balls out, so they did, and they ran fast times.
people keep saying hall is too aggressive, well there he wasn't aggressive enough, thanks to people like the marathon announcer.
