I didnt feel bad at all during the entire thing. The worst mile was the first one and they just got easier as it when on.

That kid obviously doesn't run an 18:40 5k if he ran the first 6 miles with you at that pace.

psssh whateva' Ten miles at six minute flat pace? I could pull that out of my arse nowdays, a few days back I ran a very relaxing 9 miler in an hour flat, and i thought my mile splits were slow (there were some occasional 7:11's)

Hell, give me a college runner to rabbit me and I am positive I could cover the distance in under 58 without breaking into my second wind.

I suck at track but I realize that if I start doing HS track than I could get some quality training and maybe go sub-5 this year.

I ran negative splits and he slowed down a bit. He ran the 5 miler with me and he ran a 33:low but during this 10 miler he smashed his 5 miler time by almost 2 minutes and then ran the second half around his old 5 mile pr.
