I dont like eating red-meat, I dont do fish (I think pescatarians are lame btw) buut I loove chicken and ham (like easter time) .. I just cant give up chicken =[
But I like tofu and all that. Maybe when I'm older I'd like to give up more meat but right now I need the calories.
AND I dont like wearing real fur or leather.

im with RWS, i love eating meat way to much. i cannot imagine a world w/o hamburgers, steak, chicken nuggets, salmon, sloppy joes, meat in my pasta sauce, ham/turkey subs...
dyingtorun, are you a vegetarian because you think its wrong to eat animals? or are you doing it for like health reasons? or do you not like the taste of meat?
you dont have to answer if you dont want to, im just curious.

Re: Vegetarian
Meat is a very good food for runners, provided you don't eat too much of it. If you don't eat meat, you're really missing out on some easy protein and iron.

That world would be horrible. No BLTs. No thanksgiving day turkey. No seafood (unless your that kind that can eat clams and stuff because they don't have a face). No Big Macs.

Re: Vegetarian
i tried becoming a vegetarian. but in the house that i live in, it is just to hard. i only did it for about 2 weeks. im shocked i lasted that long seeing as my family has sloppy joes, and steak or chicken often. (my favorite meals.)

Same here. I rarely eat red meat, because I'll go months without having it and then when I do have it, it makes me feel kind of sick :/Pinthin wrote:I dont like eating red-meat, I dont do fish (I think pescatarians are lame btw) buut I loove chicken and ham (like easter time) .. I also hate fish. I wish I liked them because they're really good for you, but I just think it's disgusting.
I practically live off of chicken though haha.

I started becoming vegetarian at first because I think its wrong to eat animals, after a while, I noticed my diet became far more stable then any other other diet i had before and i was able to put in more miles and feel way healthier, which gave me another reason to continue on, granted those are 2 reasons, there is also the other reason's i became vegetarian.

Nope I don't eat animals period even if it doesn't have a face, I'm lacto-ovo-vegetarian meaning I still eat eggs and milk. but over all my diet is still pretty stable.
 Looks like i just singled myself out by creating this thread
looks like i'm the only veggie lover here

I know, I try to like fish (tuna and smoked salmon is alright) but I just think it tastes gross.

Re: Vegetarian
I think tuna in the can is good, but I've never even tried salmon. Any time someone decides to cook fish in my household, they have to make me canned tuna or fish sticks (lol) because that's all I'll eat.Pinthin wrote:baby got track wrote:Same here. Re: Vegetarian
Um funny think is I have a box of boca burgers that comes with 4 patties in my freezer but i haven't had time to try then yet but i will soon. O and the part about vegetarian hot dogs what brand did u have, i've tried a few and this brand called morning star veggie dog taste exactly like hotdogs except it isn't as salty but its dam good.
BTW i've only been vegetarian for 3 months (yes not that long but that still means i haven't had meat for over 12 weeks) and i plan to continue staying like this , can't really imagine going back to eating meat.
