Me and my teammate run at this palce called MorrowCanyon and it has many winding trails with different paths theres this hill that is practically 1.5 - 2 miles long and the steepness fluxates its seems to take forever to run it, its also funny to see bikers attempt to bike up and start to walk when there halfway

I live in a valley surrounded by small mountains.

"Coaches name" hill- Coach lives on this hill.
    Miles from school-3
Notes: I bet I could go sub4 coming down this thing. No lie. It is the worst hill I have ever ran. More of a steep mountain really.

The Fish Bowl- Two huge hills in the moutains right next to each other.
    Miles from school: 3
Notes: We do hill repeats here and it sucks. Its like a giant half pipe.

Fire Hall Hill- Its behind a fire hall.
    Miles from school: 0.5
    Notes: Nothing too bad.

Mac's Ice Cream Hill- Its by Mac's Ice Cream and Pirates Putting Cove.
    Miles from school: 1
Notes: Biggest Hill that isn't part of a mountain range like the first 2.

do you mean mountains or foothills?

there's an XC course at an invitational we go to in vermont that has a hill called "morty's monster" yeah. it's a bitch... but actually that's my favorite course because it's all in the woods.

Then our class meet course goes up a smallish ski mtn. that only has like 9 trails... but it's called Mt. McIntyre, so I guess technically the part we run up is a named hill. But the whole course is pretty much uphill, so we just refer to them as the first hill, second first hill, second hill, third hill, and finish hill.

One of the places we race at has a hill called The Wall. If you stand at the bottom and look up, you end up with vertigo (no lie).

At our State meet, there's a series of hills that lead up to a monster downhill called Kamikaze Ridge. Three years ago, one of our guys was going too fast down it and he hit a tree and broke his nose. This year, they tied gym mats to a couple of the trees, so if you slam into them, you can get up and keep running.

We have a little hill circuit at the school, but we haven't been at this campus long enough to name it.

o i just remembered a funny story from when my team was supposed to be exploring the hill is the the forest about 4 miles away from school.
so we go out and we are supposed to meet are coach at the end of some trail. but we decide to go explore the hill and whatnot like another one of our coaches said. so we go into the woods and get lost. (in hunting season) first we hear some weird noises. so we just keep running trying to ignore them. then we run into a whole mess of dead animals and their insides and what not. its was gross. immediately after we hear gunshots. so we sprint to which ever way possible. but one of the team mates steped over and ice puddle and got his foot stuck. so we pull him out and run down this trail which leads us to a dirt road so we run down it of course and it looks like the sand dunes from the horror movie the hill have eyes and we would see random trucker guys looking at us really weird. so we turn around and try to find our way through the woods. but we get lost and hear more gunshots. finally get get back to where we came from and our coach is there waiting for us and asks us "where have you been?"

Oh, and there is one hill in our town called "Bulldog Hill" because you are very likely to be chased by bulldogs if you run on it.

We have "The Wall" too, along with "The Water Tower Hill" which is one of those service roads to a water tower they put up on a hill.

oh gotcha, I thought you were talking about the ranges in wa. I was going to correct your geography skills Wink

Rockies highest peak is only 30ft higher then the cascade though, but all around they are higher.
